About us

We love animals especially dogs. My oldest memory is when I was about five and I was going out to the garage to feed my black lab. She knocked me down and her food went everywhere. It seems like most of my life I've had dogs.

In 1986 I wanted to get another dog. I found a dog needing a home and he was a retired guard dog. He was the sweetest dog. In talking with the person I got the dog from I found out that one of the things the dog liked to do was bite work. I got involved in a sport called Schutzhund and loved it. Schutzhund was started in Germany and involves the areas of protection, tracking and obedience.

I enjoyed doing Schutzhund so much that I started getting involved in other types of training to where I was training K9's for police work. This included taking down bad guys, narcotics and searching for suspects. I had a real knack for reading dogs and dog behaviors. This led me to working with dogs in relation to dog behavioral issues.

In 1998, after moving to WA, I stopped training K9's. I wanted to work more in helping dogs with behavioral issues. I find obedience training fairly simple but I still teach or train dogs as needed. Mostly, I work with dogs that have some kind of behavioral issue. Some of these issues are either people aggressive of dog aggressive. In other words I work with the dogs that no one else wants to work with.

In addition to the behavior training we also raise dogs for service organizations like Canine Companions for Independence and Independence Guide Dogs. We've also worked with dogs for rescue organizations and dogs from animal shelters.

Thanks for stopping by,

Antje thought the close basket was a great place to play.

I highly recommend Robin if you want results! He brings out the best in dogs and turns them into good citizens.
